Meet Wenjia

Hi! I’m Ge Wenjia, a passionate maker, dreamer, and storyteller based in the vibrant city of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

My hands have always loved to create. Over the years, I’ve worked with paper mâché, fabric, and wool felt, exploring the textures, colors, and rhythms of handmade craft. Each material speaks its own language—and I love listening.

Puppets & Play

One of my greatest joys is bringing characters to life through puppet-making. From expressive hand puppets to delicate marionettes, I design, sculpt, sew, and paint every piece myself.

These puppets don’t just sit on shelves—they tell stories on stage! I’ve had the honor of performing puppet theatre at international schools and community events, watching children’s eyes light up with wonder and laughter.

Crafting & Community

I believe that art is meant to be shared. That’s why I lead hands-on craft workshops for children and adults, where we explore traditional techniques together in playful and meaningful ways. I’ve also showcased my work at local events like Chiang Mai Craft Week, where I love connecting with other artists and handmade lovers.
